Troubleshooting a frozen screen

  1. Try to conduct a hard shutdown.
  2. If the hard shut down is successful, plug the device into charge, turn it on again and proceed to step 6.
  3. If the device is unable to shut down in step one, leave the device turned on and allow the battery to drain.
  4. Once the device is flat and turned off, connect to charge for two hours.
  5. Turn the device on again.
  6. Connect to Wi-Fi for 20 minutes and check if a software update is available.
  7. If the error persists contact your Supplier, ensuring that it is noted what the Sentia screen is showing before the device freezes, the serial number and software version if known.

Note: If the Sentia meter gets stuck specifically on an error or warning screen, try removing the device's end cap.  This can fix the issue by forcing the meter to push through a new error message (70-20).  Firmly re-install the end cap once the desired 70-20 error is triggered.
