Error: 30-07 (Sample undiluted)

Troubleshooting error 30-07

Common reasons you might encounter a 30-07 error on Sentia assay tests requiring a dilution step:

Possible Cause 1: Incorrect Dilution

The sample may not have been diluted correctly.

Confirm adherence to the dilution instructions provided for the test. Do not deviate from the recommended wine-to-diluent ratio, as any variation may result in inaccurate results or trigger this error.

For more detailed information on the required dilution ratios for each Sentia assay involving a dilution step, please refer to our Guide to Sample Preparation for Sentia Analysis document, available HERE

Possible Cause 2: Unsuitable Diluent Used

The sample may have been diluted using an incorrect diluent for the test or an expired/compromised stock of the correct material.

Sentia assays for malic acid and fructose tests require specialized buffers. Each buffer is specifically formulated for its respective test and cannot be used interchangeably.
